  1. You mentioned Ed Slott, IRA expert, towards the end of the show today. His book, "Parlay your IRA into a Family Fortune", does discuss naming trusts as beneficiaries of 401K/IRA plans, including using a "look-through" or see-through trust, which can qualify the same as an individual beneficiary if it is set up correctly. His books are great source of info, even for a novice. He gives lots of examples so that you can relate to the topic he is discussing.
